We are offering the Polity class:  Life Together in the United Methodist Connection, online via Zoom in April. This is one of the required classes for Certified Lay Speaker.  Zoom is a free application that can be used on a computer, a tablet or a smart phone .  The cost of the class is $15.00 as usual. 

Rev. Jason Rice will be teaching the class.  The required book is:  Polity, Practice, and the Mission of the United Methodist Church by Thomas Edward Frank, the 2006 edition.  It is recommended that you have access to the Book of Discipline as well. 

We will meet for a "get to know you" session on 4/14 at 5:30 to explain how to use Zoom so everyone will be comfortable with it prior to the start of the class. 

The actual class will meet on 4/21 and 4/28 from 5:30-7:30.
