You are invited to join us for the Lay Servant Ministries Academies to begin or continue training for living out the call to make disciples for the transformation of our churches, communities, and world.
Cost: $15 per person - lunch will be provided. If you require a special diet, please bring your lunch.

All books MUST be purchased prior to the first day of class. Participants are expected to read their material prior to the first day of class.
Classes offered:
Lay Servant Ministries - Basic Course: the Basic Course of Lay Servant Ministries is foundational for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries. Participants are encouraged to discover & employ personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship. Discover Your Spiritual Gifts: This class helps participants understand spiritual gifts and how the church can use them to fulfill its mission and ministry. Participants will also learn what it means to be a spiritual leader and will be equipped to lead others in exploring and using their spiritual gifts. This class meets the Spiritual Gifts requirement for Certified Lay Speaker. (Must have completed Basic Course first). Taught by Ralph Brian

Lay Pastoral Care Giving: This course offers insights into the life span and the dynamics of contemporary life to help church leaders reach out with God's love and care to others. (Must have completed Basic Course first). Taught by Cathi Parish
