Life Together in the United Methodist Connection is an overview of the structure and organization of the United Methodist Church. This class meets the requirement for Polity for those seeking to become Certified Lay Speakers. The instructor is Pastor Tom Clark. Students are required to attend all 5 sessions.
The required participant book is The Method of Our Mission by Laceye C. Warner (2014 version). It is available through Amazon or Cokesbury. A copy of the 2020/2024 Book of Discipline is recommended. A free online version of the 2020/2024 Book of Discipline is available through Cokesbury.
