A Place for You: Becoming a Lighthouse Congregation

Lighthouse Congregations are United Methodist Churches that have received training and made a commitment to welcome and provide spiritual care and support for individuals/groups whose churches have closed or disaffiliated. LTH congregations clearly communicate we have “A Place for You.”
The August 21 & 24 Training Sessions are full.
There is no cost to attend. Registration will close at 11:59 pm two days before each session.
Training for churches seeking to become Lighthouse Congregations will be offered via Zoom. At least one member of the pastoral staff and one lay member in a leadership role must attend a Zoom training session (75 minutes in length). Following the training session, the decision to become a Lighthouse Congregation must be approved by the church’s governing board/council and receive endorsement from the superintendent.
This training session will be offered at four different times. You need only attend one session.
