Laity Discernment Retreat

On August 24th and 25th, join us for a laity discernment retreat at scenic Teter Retreat Center in Noblesville! This spiritual retreat is for all laity who are looking to find more clarity around God’s call for their lives as lay members of the UMC because ministry isn’t just for clergy! At this retreat, you will hear life stories from lay people who are living in to their calling from Jesus Christ. You will spend time in reflection and conversation with others, and in spiritual practices to help you hear God more clearly. Come prepared to relax, reflect, and have fun!

Cost: $50.00 per person; Visa and MasterCard accepted

Cancellation policy: cancellations must be received via email to lisa.timmerman@inumc.org by 11:59 pm on August 17, 2024 to be eligible for a refund less processing fee. No refunds after this date.

Because this retreat is best experienced with a small group of people, space is limited. Sleeping accommodations at Teter Retreat Center are bunk bed style, with space comfortably for 10 men in two cabins and 10 women in two cabins. Unfortunately we do not have married accommodations, but there are two reasonably-priced hotels in nearby Noblesville at the Courtyard by Marrriott and Fairfield Inn. Meals will be informal and family-style. If you have any dietary restrictions, please note that on the registration.
