This course is offered by the Central District Lay Servant Ministries team. It is a course - Life Together in the United Methodist Connection (United Methodist Polity) - that meets the requirements as an advanced course for recognition as a Certified Lay Servant or a Certified Lay Speaker within the Indiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. All lay persons in the Indiana Annual Conference are invited!

Required course text must be purchased in advance by each participant (Cokesbury.com, Amazon.com). Participants must read course text or materials in advance, be prepared to actively participate in the course in order to receive course certification.
The course will be held on two successive Sunday afternoons via the Zoom meeting platform. The classes will meet from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on the afternoons of Sunday, April 30th and Sunday, May 7th, 2023. Participants need access to a computer, phone, tablet or other device which can access online Zoom events. An access link will be provided after registration.
