All meal reservations must be made by May 24, including cafeteria meal tickets.

Campus Cafeteria – located in the lower level of Woodworth Hall next to Emens Auditorium. Woodworth Dining is the place to go for custom ramen and poke bowls, fresh sushi, filling donburi, hearty Italian entrées, colorful spinning salads, panini sandwiches, brick-oven pizzas, grill and homestyle favorites, and a fresh fruit selection boasting more than 15 varieties. A coffee bar offers a full lineup of specialty drinks and gourmet desserts, and their Riverside Emporium convenience area stays open late with grocery and ready-to-go items. Connect with laity from around the Conference at this year’s Laity Luncheon! Come to hear news about the ministry of the laity and resources that are available to support those ministries. We will also welcome keynote speaker, Thea Greer. She is the founder and president of Possibilities Abound, Inc., a ministry partner that makes a difference one child at a time. Her address goes along with this year’s theme of praying forward and our focus on partnering with schools to make sure that Children Matter Most! Staff and Board of Laity members will be present to share and answer questions you may have about your ministry roles.

Dr. Arroyo is an Elder of the Baltimore-Washington Conference where he chairs the Hispanic/Latino ministries and is an advisor to the Racial Advocacy Team, Call to Action Team, and Intercultural Competency team. Rev. Dr. Arroyo’s training in psychology, theology, mental health, and pastoral care will bring a holistic and life transforming word to help us lean into our call to discipleship and anti-racist action while caring for our souls!

We will continue the conversation around strategies to help young people discover and love your church with author Jake Mulder from Fuller Youth Institute. Your church context and current reality matter when considering how to help your church grow younger. Jake will answer our questions and help us think more about how to apply all he has taught us during Annual Conference to our ministry situations. All ministry leaders including pastors, generational leaders, lay leaders, and volunteers are encouraged to attend. Growing Young involves all church leaders!
