The global climate crisis isn't only a matter of justice and human rights - it also speaks deeply and directly into who we are as followers of Jesus Christ. For so many of us, our joyful obedience to God means praying and sweating our way towards an abundant and sustainable future for all Creation! To equip and encourage one another for this challenge, your INUMC Creation Care Team invites you to join us for a Creation Care Call - Out at Teter Organic Farm in Noblesville IN on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Our gathering will last from 10:00 to 3:00 (ET) and will include:
- Time for prayer, networking, and table fellowship
- A tour and brief history of Teter Organic Farm
- A presentation by Rev. Bob and Anita Dygert-Gearhart on their free small group curriculum, Wake up World: A Comprehensive Curriculum on the Climate Crisis for Faith Communities & Other Groups
- A discussion time led by Rev. Jake Ohlemiller: Healing Our Congregations Through Permaculture Principles
Cost: $15.00 per person
