You are invited to join us for the Lay Servant Ministries Academy to begin or continue training for living out the call to make disciples for the transformation of our churches, communities, and world. This is a one day, in person, advanced, Lay Servant Academy. Registrants can attend only one class and must be present the entire day.
Cost: $15.00

Classes:
- Preaching Advanced Course: Called to Preach - This course is designed for those who have not completed formal preaching training, for pastors seeking a basic refresher course, and for others who are called upon to preach in a pastor's absence. Called Preach is the required preaching course in the Lay Speaker track of study. You will need to order and read this required text in advance: Participant's Book - From Pew to Pulpit by Clifton F. Guthrie. Available on Amazon or Cokesbury. (Allow two weeks for the book to be delivered and read prior to class.)
- Advanced: Lay Servants as Christian Transformational Leaders - This course will guide lay servants seeking to be more empowered to lead their congregations toward vitality. You will need to order and read this required text in advance: Participant's Book - Lay Servants as Christian Transformational Leaders by Marc Brown, Kathy Merry and John Briggs. Available on Amazon and Cokesbury. (Allow two weeks for the book to be delivered and read prior to class.)
