Leading Worship

Leading Worship is a required class for those seeking to become Certified Lay Speakers. This course focuses on the lay servant who either regularly or occasionally leads a group or congregation in worship. The required participant book is: Worshiping with United Methodists (revised) by Hoyt Hickman. It is available on Amazon and Cokesbury. An additional resource that is helpful but NOT required is the United Methodist Book of Worship. The instructor is Rev. Dan Berger. Participants are required to attend all 5 sessions.
